Prepare for your appointment
At the arranged time of the survey our surveyor will text or email you an appointment link. Please click on the link. You will then see a message asking you for permission to use your camera and microphone during the survey. Once you agree to this the app will automatically connect you to our surveyor.
During your video survey, our surveyor will need to see all of the items that you will be moving. Here are a few simple things that you can do, prior to your appointment, that will help us to conduct the video survey as efficiently as possible:
- Fully charge your mobile phone or tablet
- Connect to your wifi network, if not available it is possible to use 3G or 4G phone network
- Be prepared to open up all wardrobes and cabinets and drawers, especially in the kitchen
- Be prepared to turn on all lights
- Have ladder access and a light to the loft or attic space
