Britanniala Lanes of Somerset - News for Spring18th March 2015
Spring has finally arrived and things are starting to grow as the sun begins to shine throughout the county. It is definitely a time of growth and here at Britannia Lanes things are no different.
At the beginning of next month we take delivery of a brand new Road Train, which we have invested in to ensure that our fleet is up to date and compliant with all the latest regulations for our regular trips to London and Europe. This will increase our capacity and flexibility for our clients and make sure that we can offer the most cost effective rates due to fuel economy and the ability to load multiple but separate loads bound for the same area, a win for clients and company alike.
Our training scheme is moving forward with the successful passes for our latest LGV driver Richard Stadden who passed in February. Paul Smith moves forward to his practical LGV test in April and we wish him the best of luck.
March has also brought exciting news that Britannia Lanes of Somerset and Bristol have been shortlisted for the 6th annual British Association of Removers Domestic Mover of the Year competition. This is the 5th time that Britannia Lanes have reached this point and the whole team are excited at the prospect of going further in the competition. The competition is open to all members of the Association in the UK.
Britannia Lanes are also proud to announce that we have become a member of the Which? Trusted Trader Scheme. This in conjunction with the Trading Standards Institute Code of Conduct that all BAR members subscribe to and our Kitemark for moving services are all testaments to our commitment to customer service.
None of this would be possible without the efforts of all of our staff and their commitment to excellence and belief in our clients. We are very proud of our Team.
Our core services in Removals, Storage and Shipping, continue to grow due to new and repeat clients.
As a thank you, we are offering 4 weeks free storage for all new SelfStore clients who book and pay for 3 months storage in advance.
Our biggest growth areas recently have been in Van Hire, Man and Van services and Shredding. Our shredding service is about to deal with its 25,000th bag. A cracking service to our clients bearing in mind the cost is only £6 per bag.
All of the details for these services are on our website at www.britannialanes.co.uk so please visit the site to see how we can help you.
As a final item Britannia Lanes are very proud to announce that Angus Russell, one of the owners of the business, based at the Bridgwater office, has been elected by BAR members nationwide to become a Director of the British Association of Removers, the Trade body that governs the removals industry.
Britannia Lanes as always Movers – Storers – Shippers.
